This iconic 1960s Mid-Century Modern Syroco 34-inch gilded sunburst (or starburst) wall mirror is highly collectible and sought after for Hollywood Regency interior design. The Material: True to the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco) brand, the frame is not made of wood or heavy metal. It is made of Syroco Wood, a specialized 1960s compression-molded compound of wood flour, waxes, and resins. This technique allowed for intricate, dramatic shapes while remaining remarkably lightweight and easy to hang.Dimensions: The full outer frame measures exactly 34x34 inches edge-to-edge. The central flat glass mirror insert usually measures roughly 13.5 inches in diameter.Finish: It features a brilliant, factory-applied gilded gold finish with subtle faux-patina highlighting.
