This German art wall rug was designed by interior architect Ewald Kröner for his label Schloss Hackhausen located close to Düsseldorf in Solingen, Germany. This high-quality modernist piece was handmade during the 1970s and is signed on its back. It shows how Ewald Kröner's abstract graphics were implemented as vivid, relief-like tapestry featuring great plasticity and warm colors by using his new and self-developed complex weaving techniques. Kröner's design was inspired by the art of Herbert Oehm, Max Bill, Ruppert Geiger, Victor Vasarely and Marc Chagall. This piece has an attribution mark,
