Extraordinary piece. Arguably the most recognized of the vintage Chinoiserie pieces from Baker. Chinese red lacquered distressed finish with spectacular hardware and hand painted scenes.
This piece was purchased by a family member who passed away recently. He purchased the secretary desk directly from Baker Furniture. It was the focus piece in his living room. One of the photo's about is the original purchase price back in the 1990's.
