Excellent like new condition. No damage, breaks, crazing. They have not been used. These belong to the 4-piece variant of the "12 Days of Christmas" collection, which Williams-Sonoma sold primarily between 2008 and 2010.

These were discontinued/retired in 2010. According to research, the "3 Days Per Mug" Layout is Rare: Most people searching for the collection encounter the 6-piece set, making this 4-piece version a harder-to-find collector's variation.

The creative design concept originated in the United States by the Williams-Sonoma in-house product design team, while the physical manufacturing origin is China.

The design itself is deeply rooted in English folklore, drawing directly from the traditional English Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas," which was first published in London in 1780. The imagery on your mugs is styled after classic 19th-century European postage stamps, vintage postcards, and French country botanical prints. The background features a subtle, distressed postcard script pattern underneath the vibrant bird and character illustrations.
