Bronze sculpture with dark brown patina by French sculptor Adrien-Etienne Gaudez (1845-1902), signed A. Gaudez on the base and inscribed with the title plaque "La Fortune Recompense le Travail". Made in France, circa 1885. Shows wear consistent with age and use, overall in very nice condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
