This charming Napoleon III period display cabinet is crafted from flame mahogany and topped with an elegant veined white marble slab. This refined piece is distinguished by the richness of its figured wood, its finely chased gilt bronze mounts, and its graceful lines characteristic of the second half of the 19th century.

The front features two glazed doors framed by gilt bronze moldings with flowing lines. The sides are also glazed, providing ample light inside and allowing for an elegant display of porcelain, glassware, objets d'art, or collectibles. The interior is lined with antique pink damask fabric and fitted with two glass shelves.

The uprights are adorned with bronze mounts decorated with foliage and shells, while the frieze and feet feature delicate gilt bronze fittings. The handles and keyhole escutcheons are original.

The cabinet is in very good overall condition. There are a few slight signs of age on the back and minor wear consistent with its age, without detracting from its appearance. The marble top is in beautiful condition, without any major damage.

The drawer features an inverted cyma molding, characteristic of fine Parisian furniture.
