These stunning flos pendant lamps feature an iconic spherical design in perfect space age and italian modernism style, dating back approximately to the 1970s. The main feature is the large globe-shaped diffuser made of clear glass with a rich, controlled bubble finish (a "pulegoso" or "sommerso" effect typical of some murano glasswork), which shields the light, creating a striking, sparkling texture when the lamp is turned on. The spherical body is topped by a polished chrome-plated metal cylinder with small side fins, connected to a ceiling rose via a distinctive, extendable spiral cable.
