This beautiful round midcentury wall mirror was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1950s by Vereinigte Werkstätten München. It is made of black lacquered stretched metal in the manner of French Designer Mathieu Mategot and has got a polished brass surrounding. The mirror is flawless apart from some surface scratches. The frame in excellent condition. Total diameter is 13.8 inch (35 cm). Diameter of the mirror only is 10.2 inch (26 cm). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
