The tabletop is … Read more This extending dining table was manufactured in the 1960s by the Danish furniture maker Skovby Møbelfabrik A/S. The tabletop is crafted from beautifully grained rosewood veneer and features solid, profiled hardwood edges that emphasize the elegant lines of the piece while protecting the edges from everyday wear.

The table features an oval-shaped top and a practical extension system with additional leaves, allowing it to comfortably accommodate a larger number of guests. Its sturdy pedestal base with two central supports provides excellent stability while offering ample legroom for those seated around the table.

The piece has undergone professional woodworking restoration. It was stripped of the old coating, stained in a rosewood colour, and finished with a durable semi-matt lacquer.

The table comes with two extension leaves, allowing its length to be increased to 237 cm and 296 cm respectively. This piece has an attribution mark,
