A large and incredibly rare mosaic pendant lamp made of alabaster, circa 1920 – possibly even slightly earlier.
beautiful, individual pieces of alabaster, veined and marbled in a variety of colors, create a fantastic warm light.
the alabaster pieces are harmoniously coordinated in shape and color and were assembled by hand, much like a stained-glass window with leaded glass.
incised signature with model number and patent design "drgm".
the brass mounting is original with a beautiful patina.
the textile suspension cord has been faithfully replaced.
the wiring is also original – 1 e27 socket.
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
