These reproductions were issued by Petrolagar Laboratories, Inc. and reproduce celebrated 19th-century illustrations originally published in Vanity Fair.

The group includes:

Charles (Robert) Darwin
Thomas Henry Huxley
Pierre and Marie Curie
Oliver Wendell Holmes

Each print is mounted within its original printed mat with the subject's name below the image. A printed inscription on the reverse reads:

"This Caricature first appeared in the 19th Century. It is reproduced and presented with the compliments of Petrolagar Laboratories, Inc."

These make an attractive decorative grouping for a study, library, office, laboratory, medical practice, or science enthusiast.

Measurements: Each print is approx 9.5"x6" and is approx 14.75"x11" with matting
