A superb Danish vintage teak chest of drawers by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard Nielsen. This was made in Denmark … Read more A superb Danish vintage teak chest of drawers by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard Nielsen. This was made in Denmark by Soborg Mobler, it dates from the 1960’s.

The quality is absolutely amazing, this is beautifully designed and is an impressive, useful size. It is constructed from solid Burmese teak, the edges are finely chamfered and the upper edges have exposed dovetailed joints. There is plenty of storage space in the drawers that are solid teak lined, and have beautifully sculpted handles

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout. It has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns.

We also have the matching pair of tambour fronted cabinets that came with these and is an identical size, seen listed under our other items for sale.
