A delightfully sweet and highly collectible vintage ceramic novelty teapot featuring an anthropomorphic feline bride and groom, produced by OCI Omnibus (a division of Fitz and Floyd). Beautifully sculpted and hand-painted, the teapot depicts a dapper gray tabby cat groom in a black tuxedo and red bow tie alongside his beautiful bride cat in a tiered white gown holding a pastel rose bouquet.
In a clever design twist, the groom's arm holding the train of the bridal dress sweeps back to form the teapot's handle, while the couple's heads lift off as one unified lid. The original "OCI Omnibus Taiwan" manufacturer's sticker is beautifully preserved on the bottom of the base. This whimsical piece makes an incredible anniversary or wedding gift, or a stellar addition to any vintage kitsch kitchenware or cat collection.
