I am offering a historic, hand-carved figure most likely depicting Christ the Savior of the World (Salvator Mundi).
The sculpture is made of solid wood (oak or ash) and retains traces of its original polychrome paint and natural patina. Signs of centuries of use and some damage are visible—one hand is missing, there is wear, and the base has minor damage, all consistent with the object’s age.
The figurine dates from the 18th century (stylistically associated with the late Baroque period). An excellent addition to a collection of sacred art or as an element of a historical interior.
