This elegant large-format lithograph portrays the Pont au Double and the historic Hôtel-Dieu, viewed from the Quai de Montebello along the Left Bank of the Seine. The Petit-Pont (today Petit-Pont–Cardinal-Lustiger) can also be seen in the background, creating an accurate and atmospheric panorama of the historic heart of Paris.

Unlike the artist’s more frequently encountered views of the Pont Neuf or Montmartre, this composition is rarely found on the market.

Hand signed in pencil and numbered 125/300.

Presented in its elegant gilt wooden frame under glass.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with only light signs of age consistent with careful use. The print retains fresh colours and is beautifully preserved.
