Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is an incredible abstract portrait that is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and executed with acrylic on board and framed. It is titled and signed "David and Me, P. Keil" on the verso.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. We were told upon purchase that the "David" depicted in this piece was actually David Bowie, the world-renowned singer and songwriter.

The art is in good condition with minor wear consistent with age. The frame has minor imperfections, as you can see in the photos.
