This object is a Chinese white jade zoomorphic incense burner, often referred to as a censer. It is intricately carved from jade (likely Hetian jade, a variety of nephrite highly valued in Chinese art) and is depicted in the form of a mythical or auspicious beast.
Zoomorphic Form: This particular piece represents a horned creature, likely an ox or a mythical beast like a Luduan or Qilin. In Chinese culture, the ox symbolizes power, peace, and nobility.
