An exceptional mirror, over 100 years old, crafted from solid oak. The original handwritten date "7. 6. 23"—indicating the year 1923—has been preserved on the back, serving as a valuable record of the piece's history.
The rear backing boards are missing.
The monumental frame is handmade and features striking columns, carved capitals, and a decorative cornice with a leaf motif. The piece exemplifies high-quality interwar craftsmanship inspired by Neoclassicism.
The mirror has been cleaned of accumulated dust and grime without altering the wood's original structure. The surface was subsequently treated with an eco-friendly hard oil, which highlights the natural wood grain while preserving its historic character.
