The round table is crafted from solid wood and veneer and features Ruscheweyh's signature high-quality extension mechanism. When closed, the tabletop measures 99 cm in diameter. Using the original extension mechanism, the table can be extended to 160 × 99 cm. The integrated drop leaves allow for quick and easy expansion of the table surface without the need for separate extension leaves.

The table's robust legs are particularly distinctive, softly rounded on the outside and sharply angular on the inside. Together with the wide apron, they create a balanced, timeless design that complements both classic and modern interiors.

The table has been fully restored in our workshop. The old surface was removed, the wood carefully prepared, then stained in a sophisticated bog oak tone and finally finished with a high-quality lacquer. The new surface preserves the natural wood grain and gives the piece an elegant, deep, dark appearance, as well as a durable surface for everyday use.

The Ruscheweyh furniture manufactory, founded in the 19th century in Langenöls (Silesia), was one of the most important manufacturers of high-quality extendable tables in Germany. As early as 1878, company founder Robert Ruscheweyh patented an innovative extendable table system that made the company's name known far beyond the borders of Germany. Original tables with the manufacturer's plate are relatively rare today and are prized for their exceptional craftsmanship.

with its harmonious proportions, this restored dining table is suitable for both period living spaces and modern interiors in Art Deco, Mid-Century, Japandi, Industrial, or Contemporary styles.

Condition

Fully restored. Cleaned, stripped of paint, stained in bog oak, and finished with a high-quality lacquer. The original extension mechanism functions perfectly. Very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of age-related wear.
