Pendant lamp, designed by paolo piva for av mazzega, italy, 1980s. The attribution of the designer has been confirmed in writing by av mazzega (available upon request).
the hemispherical shade is made of transparent violet murano glass and, thanks to its stepped, frosted inner structure, creates an exceptionally beautiful play of light – both when switched off and illuminated. This version is one of the rarer models by paolo piva for av mazzega.
the lamp is in very good vintage condition. The glass has only a few minor, age-related micro-chips, each approximately 2 mm in size. There are no cracks, chips, or edge damage. The lamp has been cleaned, polished, and technically tested and is fully functional.
equipped with a g9 socket for standard light bulbs (also suitable for leds).
