The set features a dramatic … Read more A handsome, iconic set of four bronzed "Montecito" garden counter barstools designed by Michael Taylor. The set features a dramatic dark tactile powder-coated metallic bronze finish. The elegant counter-height stools feature tall spindled backs, gracefully scrolling arms, ball finial accents, and delicately molded uprights. The construction features subtle fluting and accentual details in the neoclassical taste. The slender straight tapering legs are joined by X-framed stretchers, giving an airy and open feel to the design. The backs feature a vertical slat design with turned round finial corner supports. The set is finished with later added loose seat cushions in a light neutral all-weather fabric by Sunbrella, resting on open geometric lattice designed seats. The chairs blend Neoclassical, California Coastal, and Regency styles, suitable for a variety of settings, including kitchen islands, bars, or garden patio dining. Arms measure 34" tall at finials. Sold as a set of four. The set is in exceptional condition as seen in photos ready to enjoy with new seat cushions.
