Hand-signed and dated by the artist in 1980 ("D. Nettles - '80"), this vintage piece beautifully captures the precise, technical design movement of the late 20th century. The piece shows his signature visual language, merging layered typographic patterns with precise, architectural geometry and gestural splatters.
Mixed media painting consists of acrylic and ink with some stenciling on a large sheet of mylar graph paper mounted in wood frame with plexiglass - framed in NYC.
Darrell Nettles has shown his work across both the United States and international platforms. His artistic style frequently evolves through distinct structural and thematic series.
