This impressive character piece combines a very heavy patinated solid brass and bronze structure with a stunning satin glass globe. The spherical globe is beautifully decorated with delicate acid-etched floral patterns and finished with a scalloped wavy upper edge typical of early 20th-century glassmaking craftsmanship. Designed for nautical or fine interior use it accommodates a traditional spring candle lifter mechanism inside that automatically adjusts the candle height as it burns.
