The directional composition depicts a lush, heavenly garden filled with elegant trees, delicate flowers, and graceful birds — a vision of paradise rendered in pure silk with a precision of approximately 700 knots per square inch, a testament to the extraordinary technical mastery of Hereke's master weavers.

Hereke, on the Gulf of İzmit, was established as an imperial workshop by Sultan Abdülmecid I in 1843 to produce the finest textiles for the Ottoman court — and the all-silk rugs that emerged from this tradition represent the absolute pinnacle of Turkish weaving achievement.
