Blending soft sculpture, mixed media, and textile art, this object combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary artistic language. A teddy bear was completely reworked into a unique work of art that deliberately straddles the line between design, sculpture, and textile art.

Standing approximately 20 cm tall, Cura possesses a serene, seated presence. Its form is reminiscent of a classic teddy bear, yet each surface tells a new story. Various fabrics, lace, ribbons, and textile fragments were assembled by hand and intentionally joined together with visible seams. The materials are complemented by glass, wooden, and plastic beads, as well as embroidered details that lend the object additional depth.

The color palette ranges from deep blue and gray to dusty rose, violet, and fragmented patterns. Floral fabrics meet graphic elements, delicate lace meets coarse weaves. No two surfaces are alike. It is precisely this multifaceted nature that makes Cura a sculptural work that reveals itself anew with every glance.

The piece was created entirely by hand. Each fabric was individually selected, cut, and sewn. Nothing was concealed or standardized—visible stitches and material transitions are part of the artistic statement.
