* derrière le miroir (dlm) was an artist's edition published by the french publishing couple maeght. It appeared from 1946 to 1982 in a total of 201 issues and is now an important historical document of postwar visual art. Most issues also included original prints (lithographs, etchings, serigraphs, or woodcuts) by important contemporary artists, predominantly printed at the fernand mourlot printing house.

Most issues also included original prints (lithographs, etchings, serigraphs, or woodcuts) by important contemporary artists, which were predominantly printed at the fernand mourlot printing house.

The intention of this publication was to make original graphic works by renowned artists such as marc chagall, joan miró, georges braque, pablo picasso, and many others accessible to a wider audience by having the artists create original prints specifically for each edition. Consequently, these works are also listed in the artist's catalogue raisonné, unlike art prints.
