Subject and Style: The modernist design of this piece is distinguished by its organic and sinuous lines, typical of the renowned creativity of the Vallauris factory. The asymmetrical and fluid shape, enhanced by two elegant curled handles, recalls a large leaf or a stylized shell, a clear expression of the bold taste of the 1970s.

Material and Finish: Crafted from high-quality, thick polychrome majolica. The surface is embellished with a spectacular "colatura" glaze (fat lava style), with a dark brown center that explodes into brilliant orange hues and white and sea green streaks along the edges, creating a magnificent, textured, three-dimensional effect.
