Design and Style: This splendid lampshade is distinguished by a fluid and sinuous shape, typical of the finest 1970s design. The structure, composed of a spherical base and a bell-shaped shade with a delicately wavy edge, is united in a single, harmonious sculptural piece.
Material and Finish: Entirely hand-blown from fine, polished white opaline Murano glass. The distinctive feature that makes this lamp rare and precious is the intricate swirl workmanship, a delicate diagonal ribbing pattern that runs across the entire surface, creating a fascinating play of light and shadow when lit.
