The set consists of four target armchairs (Model MCM59B) featuring a thick pole rattan pole frame with a square back centered by an iconic circular target design. The darkly stained tortoiseshell-toned rattan frames are reinforced with leather rawhide straps on the exposed joints. The chairs are crafted with graceful sweeping arms and straight, sturdy legs with straight stretchers. The fitted loose seat cushions are upholstered in a distinct striped fabric of camel, cocoa, tan, and charcoal tones. The back cushions are finished in a neutral tan tactile fabric. The chair frames are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The vintage seat pads and fabric are in good, presentable condition having a very lightly faded patina. The chairs blend Organic Modern, California Coastal, and Country Safari influences, suitable for a variety of interiors. Each chair has a McGuire plaque underneath the seat. Sold as a set of four.
