This Scandinavian teak sideboard features a clever, symmetrical design, conceived to optimize your storage space. It opens to reveal three large, distinct compartments:

On the left: A large storage area behind two hinged doors, equipped with an internal shelf for your dishes or files.

In the center: A block of four deep drawers. The top drawer, a true relic of its era, retains its original green felt lining in excellent condition, as well as its wooden dividers, perfect for organizing your cutlery or accessories.

On the right: An additional hinged door opening onto a third storage space with a shelf.

The most striking aesthetic feature of this piece lies in its handles. Sculpted in a round shape and set directly into the wood, they create an organic relief highly sought after by collectors of furniture from this era. The entire piece rests on a characteristic tapered base, which visually lightens its imposing structure.

Complete handcrafted restoration to enhance the teak

Buying a vintage piece of furniture means acquiring a piece with a story. To guarantee a product ready to be placed in your home, this Scandinavian teak sideboard has undergone a complete handcrafted restoration in our workshop. It has been entirely sanded and then oiled to intensely nourish the wood and bring out the warm golden grain of the teak veneer.

Like all authentic furniture from the 1960s, it displays subtle signs of age that add to its charm and attest to its history. These include a scratch on the top (visible in the photo) and slight signs of wear on the upper left side. These superficial imperfections do not detract from the structural integrity or the superb aesthetics of this unique piece.
