The artist strips away detail to capture the essence of the breed — the heavy jowls, the broad chest, the stubborn, watchful set of the head — in a form that is at once playful and powerful. A warm brown patina with soft golden highlights follows the polished curves, giving the small figure real presence and weight. Signed with the artist's cast mark on the base.
