Measuring an impressive 16'2" x 11'8", this flatweave rug was handwoven in Maimana City, Northern Afghanistan by independent Turkmen women weavers leveraging centuries of ancestral, crafted textile experience. Celebrating a masterfully balanced dialogue between ancient tribal form and modern minimalism, it features a deeply saturated, organic background rendered in authentic natural indigo blue. The commanding blue field is brilliantly detailed with an understated, sophisticated geometric pattern of clean, white linear graphics.
