Originally designed in 1976 by the graphic design studio Hipgnosis & Alva Museum, this statue was manufactured for Led Zeppelin's seventh studio album, Presence. The piece features a distinct postmodern and space age aesthetic, characterized by an asymmetric, twisted obelisk form finished in black. It is cast from a Hydrocal white gypsum cement material and retains its original green felt backing on the underside of the base. This piece bears the correct 1976 Swan Song markings and is hand numbered 641/1000. Based on comparison with published collector references, we believe this example is likely one of the well-known documented reproduced 1980s bootleg pieces. It is being sold as such and priced accordingly. The base displays embossed typography reading "LED ZEPPELIN", "PRESENCE", and the official 1976 copyright notice. Great condition showing only minor wear, flea bite touch ups commensurate with age - please see photos and video. Collection ready piece.
