This table features a cherry plank top … Read more This Stickley Furniture Company cherry drop-leaf table is dated on the label 1953. This table features a cherry plank top of exceptional color and figuring. And it showcases Stickley's outstanding commitment to workmanship, not only in the finish of the cherry wood but underneath the table as well where there are inlaid canvas straps that, in addition to the brass hinges, provide additional support to the drop leaf panels.
This table was purchased from Stickley at the time of its manufacture and used as a showroom sample (from which orders could be taken) in our high-end Interior Design Furniture Showroom. This piece was never sold and has never been used, except as a display piece in our showroom. The table is in excellent condition but there is one area on the left drop leaf top that appears to have had a deep scratch repaired. Other surface scratches are very slight and are consistent with age. See less
