This primitive 19th century jelly cabinet features a rustic, red wash finish, an upper drawer and two doors opening to ample storage. The age of this piece can be determined by the hand-cut dove tail joints on the drawers, the hand planed surface on the inside of the doors and the pieced wood back. While primitive in style, this piece has beautifully turned bun feet. This cabinet is ready for use as a sideboard in a dining room or extra storage in a kitchen or bedroom. The style is perfect for any farmhouse or rustic decor but is also something unexpected in a more modern setting.
This piece is 43"w x 17.5"d x 47.5"h. This is a primitive piece. It is entirely functional, but there are chips and dings and 100+ years of patina that give this cabinet its character.
