Celebrate the harvest season year-round with this vintage cast iron wheat sheaf doorstop featuring a rich antiqued gold finish accented by a band of green leaves. Wheat has long symbolized abundance and prosperity, making this a timeless decorative accent for English Country, French Provincial, Primitive, Traditional, Cottage, and Rustic Farmhouse interiors. This example was made in Taiwan most likely during the 1970s to early 1980s, when quality cast iron reproductions of classic American doorstops became popular. The reverse retains the molded © mark and Made in Taiwan.
