This English antique seascape oil painting is a loving tribute to seafaring and the sea. The artist is unknown but this piece came from an estate on the outskirts of Oxford, England and dates back to the early 1900’s. It shows a beautiful depiction of two sailboats carefully making their way through the ocean waters. The moody color palette draws you in to this seascape scene on a cloudy day.
The worn canvas has been left untouched to show the beautiful wear that only comes through time.
