Striking Mid Century Modern walnut executive desk by Alma Desk Company from the coveted Skulptura series, made in High Point, North Carolina in the 1960s. This sculptural desk features a signature bowtie-shaped top, elegant tapered legs with original metal sabot feet, and a woven cane modesty panel that gives the piece a refined Danish Modern look from every angle.
The desk is very solid and structurally sound, with three functional drawers: one extra-deep legal file drawer on the left, two standard drawers on the right, and a pull-out utility tray in the kneehole area. The walnut finish shows age-appropriate vintage wear, including light surface scratches and minor finish loss along the edge of the top, consistent with careful use over time.
