Mainly produced in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and in Himachal Pradesh. They were also brought as dowry by young women. This specimen of ours has the typical Saf motif that repeats mehrab several times: side by side prayer rugs, used in Muslim families for daily prayer. See less
