Excellent sculpture of great quality and mastery in the volumes. Attributed to the great sculptor Venancio Vallmitjana y Barbany (1828-1919) in his well-known theme of pose with support, shown in several of his best works such as El pintor or La joven con pandereta. The latter, in addition to accompanying the musical theme, shares approaches in the pose and composition of the work. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
