Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Brodsky eventually relocated to Canada and is currently based in Toronto, where she creates her vibrant compositions.

The artwork features dynamic, sweeping gestures heavily inspired by mid-century abstract expressionism. Bold, lyrical ribbons of cobalt blue, primary red, soft ochre, and deep navy slice cleanly across a luminous, textured off-white background, creating a fantastic sense of rhythm, motion, and depth.

True to Brodsky’s signature style, the artwork is executed on canvas using a specialized mixed-media technique that masterfully combines a high-quality base composition with thick, hand-applied layers of paint. These deliberate structural strokes give the piece real physical texture and a gorgeous, light-catching impasto finish.

The painting comes beautifully housed in a premium, minimalist gold floater frame that elevates the artwork and gives it a floating, gallery-ready appearance. Boasting a commanding 36" x 48" footprint, this vibrant statement piece is perfect for anchoring a living room sofa, a dining area, or a stylish entryway. See less
