A remarkable 19th-century table lamp crafted from finely polished onyx marble, designed in the form of a classical architectural column and crowned with an ornate gilt bronze fire urn. This exceptional antique piece embodies the elegance of French Empire and Neoclassical design, where architectural symmetry and luxurious materials were central to decorative arts.
The richly veined honey-toned onyx shaft rises from a stepped square plinth and is topped with a beautifully cast gilt bronze urn featuring flame-form finials — a symbol of eternal light and classical grandeur. The contrast between the translucent onyx and warm gilt bronze gives the lamp exceptional decorative presence.
A highly sculptural object that functions equally as lighting and as decorative art, ideal for a library, console, bedside, or formal salon.
Shade not included, allowing customisation to your preferred style.
