Colorful acrylic on canvas by contemporary artist Kevin Broad, titled “Videy / Reykjavik.” The painting depicts a vivid Icelandic coastal landscape with rolling green hills, mountains, water, and a small white structure in the distance. Broad’s loose expressive brushwork and saturated palette give the piece a lively atmospheric quality.
This work relates to Broad’s Iceland series, likely connected to his “Iceland Summer” exhibition at Hrefna Jonsdottir Gallery in Lambertville, New Jersey, listed in the artist’s exhibition history for 1999.
