A wonderfully authentic piece of Americana, this original hand-painted wooden sign boldly proclaims "NO CHILDREN ALLOWED – RESERVED FOR ADULTS." With its heavily weathered white paint, bold black block lettering, and decades of natural aging, it has exactly the kind of honest patina collectors and designers search for.

Found in Peterborough, New Hampshire, this sign almost certainly spent many years mounted outdoors at a summer camp, lakeside resort, private club, tavern, lodge, or adults-only recreation area.
