This exceptional piece made of hand-blown murano glass is attributed to designer toni zuccheri for the famous italian glassworks av mazzega. The lamp does not bear a label or signature; the attribution is based on the specific style and manufacturing design. The large spherical globe is distinguished by its remarkable artistic craftsmanship, featuring a vertically ribbed texture that culminates at the top in a zig-zag notched neck, adorned with an amber/caramel glass accent in the centre. The lower part of the diffuser elegantly fades into a milky white satin finish lattimo. When lit, the lamp creates a spectacular luminous effect, projecting dramatic and warm radial beams of light onto the surrounding walls. The glass diffuser rests on a solid cylindrical base in polished chrome, complete with its three original fixing screws.inside, the white glass cylinder of the internal element diffuses a soft and even light. It features a ceramic socket for a standard e27 bulb led bulb highly recommended. Fully dismountable for cleaning and safe transport.
condition
excellent vintage condition. The glass is perfectly intact, with no cracks or chips. The chrome is clean and shiny with very minor and normal signs of age. The original wiring is fully functional.
