Iconic scandinavian lounge chair with matching footstool, designed by ingmar relling for the norwegian manufacturer westnofa in the 1960s. The "flex" model impresses with its lightweight, foldable construction made of molded plywood and combines exceptional seating comfort with functional design. The freely suspended leather cushions conform comfortably to the body and, together with the ergonomically angled backrest, ensure a relaxed seating experience. The cognac-colored leather with its horizontal quilting harmonizes perfectly with the dark-stained wooden frame, giving the ensemble a warm, timeless appeal. The matching footstool ideally complements the chair, making the set the perfect companion for living rooms or reading rooms. This model is considered one of ingmar relling's signature designs and is characterized by its ingenious, foldable construction and high level of seating comfort.
condition:
the chair and footstool are in good vintage condition with age-related wear. The leather has a beautiful patina with slight creases and hardly any signs of wear. The wooden frame is well-preserved, and the upholstery on the underside is in good working order.
