the royal shelving unit impresses with its timelessly modern, light, and exclusive design. Two shelves offer visually appealing storage options for books and more, while the open, practical "secretary" unit with four small drawers provides a stylish and elegant way to store office supplies and other items. We can easily imagine this shelving unit above a desk.

the shelves and unit are crafted to a high standard, primarily from solid teak. The back panel is teak veneer.

the royal system is also remarkably versatile, as it is modular. Each element can be flexibly positioned as desired and complemented with other elements from the royal-cado system.


there are also two small imperfections on the front of the cabinet – one on each of the lower interior edges – which the previous owner had repaired with wood filler (see photos above). However, we don't find these flaws particularly noticeable in the overall appearance and they will hardly be noticeable in everyday use.

condition

the item is in well-maintained and more than good vintage condition with superficial signs of wear consistent with age on the teak surface.

these are: a few small to medium-sized marks surface scratches, minor dents/nicks, and small imperfections in the real wood veneer (mostly angular) are present, as well as color variations in the teak wood due to light and use, especially—as is often the case—on the panels (see photo above). A small piece of veneer is also missing from the top of the panel (see photos above)—however, this flaw is barely visible and not noticeable in everyday use after the shelves are installed.

all these marks are usually only slightly more visible upon close inspection and are not significant.
