Large contemporary ceramic wall art sculpture by listed artist Alan Gibson. Large scale clay shapes are layered in blue and grey hues, created to show a range of textures. Can be hung horizontally or vertically. Signed by the artist in the lower right.
Alan Gibson's early career began as an apprentice in his mother's production clay studio where he developed a keen interest in abstract art forms. His mother Barbara (MFA in Ceramics/University of Michigan) taught him the technical expertise required to work with clay on a large scale. He continues to produced and install custom pieces.
