Authentic Pair of Vintage Vitalino Filho Brazilian Folk Art Terracotta Sculptures
Offered is a wonderful pair of original hand-modeled terracotta folk art sculptures by Vitalino Filho, created in the renowned ceramic tradition of Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil. The Vitalino family is celebrated for preserving the artistic legacy of Mestre Vitalino, one of Brazil's most influential folk artists, whose expressive depictions of everyday life and traditional occupations have become internationally recognized.
These handcrafted sculptures portray occupational scenes that beautifully capture the spirit of rural Brazilian life. Every detail was individually modeled by hand, giving each figure its own unique character and expression. Both sculptures retain their original impressed "Vitalino Filho" maker's mark on the underside.
Measurements
Larger sculpture: Approximately 4¼ inches (10.8 cm) tall
Smaller sculpture: Approximately 3¾ inches (9.5 cm) tall

These are authentic vintage handmade terracotta sculptures and display expected age and handling wear.
