"Kaleidoscope Chairs II" is the second image in Clifford Baker's three-part Kaleidoscope Chairs series, photographed aboard a Princess Cruise to Alaska in 2009. Rather than documenting the scenery beyond the ship, Baker focused inward, discovering unexpected beauty in the interplay of architecture, sunlight, color, and shadow.

In this composition, two white deck chairs and a circular standing table become sculptural forms against brilliant cobalt blues and radiant golden deck surfaces. The ship's structural framework casts an intricate network of diagonal shadows that transforms an ordinary seating area into a striking abstract study of rhythm, geometry, and balance. The warmer tonal palette of this version creates a welcoming sense of light and serenity while maintaining the strong graphic qualities that define the series.

Printed on archival matte photographic paper, this original photograph measures 13 inches by 19 inches and is offered unframed.
